I have attended this bilingual writers and readers gathering five times, and each of them has been wonderful in different ways. The speakers have been world class, the workshops extremely enriching, the social events, just too much fun.

Everyone I have met at the SMWC has been friendly and generous with their experience. Definitely there is an abundance of talent and encouragement.

This year five members of the Merida Writers’ Group will attend, plus one husband and two more writers from the Progreso area. Not a bad showing from Yucatan. but there is certainly room for more.

If you are a writer or an avid reader there is still time to sign up for this year’s conference, visit this link for all the details.

See you there!

I just received your book from Amazon and dove into it last night while Paipitwo played in the background (that purchase prompted by you, thank you!). Could that combination get me any closer to heaven? Only if while I read and listened I was sitting in San Miguel!

    Have a wonderful time there!

  2. I’m excited about meeting you when you get here! I’m really looking forward to it.
